About the RCATV
We’re more than just trails…
We are a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to enhancing the recreational experience of our ridership through strategic planning, transparent governance, and a strong commitment to safety, environmental stewardship and sustainability.
The RCATV Crew is always hard at work diligently managing and evaluating our operations to ensure we are in alignment and collaboratively focusing on responsible resource management, strategic sourcing and strengthening our partnerships. During the off-season we undertake financial planning and develop a comprehensive trail maintenance work plan to ensure operational success for the year ahead.
Our Director & Executive, Trail Warden and Trails Teams meet regularly and we host Annual General Meetings fostering member engagement. We are committed to prioritizing transparency and accountability across all levels of our organization.
Club initiatives such as comprehensive trail mapping with technical ratings, active wardening, and a collaborative partnership with the OPP Ride Safe Program underscore our commitment to responsible recreation. We also host organized rides that foster community connection, promote safe practices, and advance the long-term sustainability of our trail network. The RCATV trail system has well over 1,400 km of maintained trails and connecting roadways, we provide permit holders access to a diversity of terrain, panoramic lookouts, lakeside and riverside pathways not to mention our “Valley Spirit” making each adventure an experience to remember!

Volunteer with the Club
The RCATV “Valley Experience” is about community & connection.
Being part of the RCATV crew is not only fulfilling but is very meaningful because our contributions make a big impact in our community. As Ontario’s premier adventure destination for rider enthusiasts and being a non-profit organization, we rely on the dedication and expertise of our volunteers to support a wide range of initiatives. Everyone is part of a recognition & incentives program and given guidance while building new skills but most importantly they carry the “valley spirit” and are committed to making a lasting community impact. Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our Club and play a vital role in helping to ensure we provide safe, accessible, and exhilarating experiences for all trail users.
From trail maintenance and infrastructure projects, participating in club rides or supporting rider safety initiatives like our Trail Warden & OPP Ride Safe partnership, your efforts strengthen the RCATV community and contribute directly to the preservation and enhancement of our shared trail experience.
